Misbehavior

Any hostel resident who misbehaves with fellow students, other residents of the hostel or with any person working in the hostels including the security staff, mess staff, cleaners and others, shall be liable to pay a fine upto Rs. 500 (Five Hundred Rupees) and/or suspension for 5 (five) working days. Repeated misbehavior shall amount to expulsion from the hostel and parents of the misbehaving hostel resident would be informed.

Unauthorized presence of opposite sexes

Any unauthorized presence (including entry-forceful or otherwise and efforts to enter) of any female (including the female students) in the boys hostel or of any male (including the male students) in the females hostel shall be deemed to be misbehaviour and the Principal may suspend/rusticate/expel the concerned students forthwith from the college, pending further action/enquiry.

Nuisance

Any hostel resident who causes nuisance (including playing loud music, bursting fire crackers, behaving in an unruly manner or littering the hostel premises) shall be fined upto a sum of Rs. 500 (Five Hundred Rupees). Repeated Nuisance shall result in expulsion from the hostel and parents of the concerned hostel resident would be informed in this regard

Consumption and possession of intoxicants

Any hostel resident found consuming or in possession of tobacco, cigarettes, narcotics, alcoholic beverages and other intoxicants within the College/hostel premises shall be fined up to Rs. 500 (Five Hundred Rupees) and/or be suspended for 5 (five) working days from the College/hostel. The parents/local guardian of such hostel resident shall be informed.

Substance Abuse

Any hostel resident found using substances, apart from tobacco and alcohol, which are known to have an intoxicating effect, for any purpose shall be fined upto Rs. 500 (Five Hundred Rupees) and/or be suspended for 5 (five) working days from the College/hostel

Ragging

Any student found to be engaging in the act of ragging shall be suspended for 5 (five) working days from the college/hostel and the parents/local guardian of the defaulting student shall be informed about such misbehaviour this will be in addition to the actions taken in the regulation curbing the menace of ragging.

Damage to university and hostel property

Any hostel resident who causes damage to or destroys any property of the college/hostel in the hostel or those belonging to the hostel/college /university shall be liable to make good for the loss caused by such damage including replacement of the damaged property.

Disturbance to the Peace, Tranquillity and general well-being of the Campus and its residents

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Rules, any act/conduct of any student within the premises of the campus which disturbs the peace, tranquillity and general well-being of the campus and persons residing therein shall be viewed seriously and the principal shall have the authority to take such measures against the concerned students as he deems fit including expulsion or rustication of such persons.

Vehicles
bg
No hostel resident is permitted to keep any vehicle (two-wheeler or four-wheeler) on campus, whether outside the halls of residence, academic block or anywhere else. In case any private vehicle is brought to the campus to drop any student, the vehicle should leave immediately. Any vehicle belonging to a hostel resident if found on campus shall be confiscated and would be returned on the payment of a fine of Rs. 1000 (One Thousand Rupees) and/or suspension for 5 (five) working days from the hostel.
